A Friday in May

Another Friday, in May.  Can I share my dreams with you?  Can I share what's in my heart and on my mind with you?  I want, I want, I want... so many things.  Most of all, I want to repair the damage, the pain, of the past.  I want to fix things that can't be fixed...
My name is Tonya Rolin.  I am 36 years old.  I live and work in San Jose, California.  I am a registered nurse at Kaiser Permanente's (San Jose) outpatient chemotherapy infusion room.  I have a 12 year old son named Trevor.  I am engaged to Omid, my honey, and we have all lived together for the last eight years.  I am from Flomaton/Brewton, Alabama.  I have lived here in California for the past eight years.  We have a cat named Trixie (a ten year old tortoise-shell) and a dog named Bobo (a one year old chihuahua).  We had another beautiful cat, Gizmo, but he died in February (he was about 12 years old and we've had him and Trixie for about six years).  He was a beautiful, annoying soul and I miss him terribly.  We also have three pet birds that we've had for a few years.  A cockatiel named Alicia, and two parakeets - the blue one is Johnny Bird and the green one is Janie Bird.
Omid finally got a job after over almost two years of being unemployed and not able to find one.  He had also gotten one in February but after two weeks, that company laid off over twenty employees and he was one of them.  Now, this is his first full week at this new company and it looks promising.  The pay is low but, hopefully, that will improve over time.  We also got a new car for him since his 900 year old Mitsubishi finally gave up the ghost.  We got a 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid.  I am so jealous...
I called out from work yesterday and today and also kept Trevor at home since he's been sick with a migraine, just not feeling well, in general.  I will try to get an appointment for him today with the pediatrician just to make sure everything is okay.
     Over and out...
